Davide Garbolino is an Italian voice actor, dubbing director, and television presenter, born in Cirié on September 24, 1968. He is highly regarded for his distinctive and youthful voice, which has allowed him to specialize in voicing young boys and animal characters across a vast array of animated series and films. His career in dubbing began in the late 1980s, and he has since become a prominent figure in the Italian voice acting industry, working out of major dubbing studios in Milan and Rome, such as Merak Film.

Garbolino's entry into the world of performance was encouraged by his piano teacher, leading him to work as a child actor in television dramas and radio plays. Beyond voice acting, he is also known to television audiences as a presenter on the Italia 1 children's program Ciao Ciao, which he hosted from 1992 to 2000 alongside colleagues Debora Magnaghi and Pietro Ubaldi, also voicing the puppet Four on the show.

Garbolino is perhaps best known for his long-standing and iconic roles as the Italian voices of several major anime protagonists. His most enduring role is that of Ash Ketchum in the Pokémon anime series and its numerous films, a character he has voiced since the Italian debut of the series in the late 1990s. This is one of the longest-running roles of his career. He is also the Italian voice of Nobita Nobi in the Doraemon series and movies. In the Dragon Ball franchise, he voices the adult version of Son Gohan, appearing in Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Super, and the film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. Another significant and long-running role is that of Shinichi Kudo in the Detective Conan series, a performance for which he received the "Best Male Voice in a Cartoon" award at the Gran Galà del Doppiaggio Romics in 2008.

In addition to these signature roles, Garbolino's extensive anime filmography includes a wide range of prominent characters. He has voiced Lyserg Diethel in Shaman King, Ryo Ishizaki in the Captain Tsubasa reboot, Bleed Kaga in the Future GPX Cyber Formula series, Yusuke Urameshi in Yu Yu Hakusho, Jean Roque Raltique in Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water, Kyōsuke Kasuga in Kimagure Orange Road, Axel Blaze in Inazuma Eleven, and Syrus Truesdale in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. He has also contributed to the One Piece franchise, voicing characters like Tobio and Koza.

His work, however, is not limited to anime. He has voiced numerous characters in Western animation, further demonstrating his versatility. Notably, he has been the official Italian voice of Bugs Bunny since 2007, succeeding Massimo Giuliani. His other prominent roles include Michelangelo in the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, Plucky Duck in Tiny Toon Adventures, Robin (Dick Grayson) in various Batman animated series, and Omi in Xiaolin Showdown. He has also lent his voice to characters in live-action productions, such as Nevel Papperman in iCarly and Abed Nadir in Community.

Beyond acting, Davide Garbolino is also active as a dubbing director, overseeing the Italian adaptations for various animated series, including several Doraemon films, Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, and School Rumble.
