Description
"Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's New Dinosaur" is a 2020 animated film that blends adventure, science fiction, and emotional storytelling. The narrative centers on Nobita Nobi, a young boy who discovers two fossilized eggs while on a school trip. Using Doraemon's futuristic gadgets, Nobita successfully hatches the eggs, revealing two baby dinosaurs: a timid, small dinosaur named Kyu and a larger, more confident one named Myu. The two dinosaurs quickly form a bond with Nobita, but their differences in size and personality create challenges as they grow.
As the story progresses, Nobita and his friends—Doraemon, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo—learn that Kyu and Myu belong to a rare species of dinosaur thought to be extinct. Determined to return the dinosaurs to their rightful time period, the group embarks on a journey to the Late Cretaceous period using Doraemon's time machine. Along the way, they encounter various prehistoric creatures and navigate the dangers of the ancient world. The journey becomes a test of friendship, responsibility, and courage as Nobita strives to ensure the safety of Kyu and Myu while confronting the harsh realities of survival in the past.
The film explores themes of perseverance and the importance of understanding and accepting differences. Nobita's growth as a character is evident as he takes on the responsibility of caring for the dinosaurs, despite his usual tendency to shy away from challenges. The dynamic between Kyu and Myu serves as a metaphor for overcoming adversity and embracing individuality. The story culminates in a heartfelt resolution that ties together the emotional and adventurous elements of the narrative, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
