Hiroshi Shimizu is a Japanese comedian and voice actor, known in the anime industry for a select number of prominent supporting and antagonist roles. He was born on January 21, 1966, in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. His professional career as a voice actor is most recognized for his work during the 2000s, particularly within the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise.

Shimizu is best known for his role as Chronos de Medici, also known as Vellian Crowler, in the long-running series Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. In this series, he voiced the character for all 180 episodes, portraying the strict but often comedic instructor of Duel Academy. His other major anime roles include Masahiko Yumeno in the magical girl series Onegai My Melody and Mr. Uruchi in the 1999 series Medabots. Beyond these titles, his known anime voice credits also include a role in an episode of the 2009 short film collection Osamu Dazai Short Story Collection.
