Description
Pete is a young village boy from the outer regions of Arthur's kingdom. He first meets Arthur when the king travels incognito as a wandering commoner, investigating threats to the realm. Pete forms a core group of companions with another youth named Bosman and their animal allies. This group becomes integral to Arthur's journeys, accompanying him between villages facing various dangers. Pete directly observes Arthur's dual identity, witnessing the king secretly don his armor to become the heroic 'Prince on White Horse' when confronting adversaries like the Viking King. His background as an ordinary village youth provides a grounded perspective. Pete's development centers on adapting to the unexpected role of aiding the disguised king. His presence contributes to the lighter, adventure-oriented tone of this story phase compared to the series' earlier arcs. His interactions with Arthur, Bosman, and their animal companions form a consistent element throughout this narrative segment.
