Description
Kento Yamada, a graphic designer navigating remote work while managing family life, strives to balance career demands with his role as a devoted father to Yohei and husband to Miwa. His dedication to family extends to adopting Chi, a lost cat he integrates into their home despite initial apartment restrictions, later relocating the household to a pet-friendly residence to secure her place among them. Daily responsibilities include overseeing Chi’s veterinary care and claw maintenance—tasks met with resistance, yet handled with patient resolve.

When leash-training Chi to satisfy her curiosity about the outdoors, his efforts inadvertently lead to her brief escape, highlighting her independent streak. Later, a career opportunity in France sparks discussions about uprooting the family, intertwining their futures with Chi’s uncertain past after a missing-cat poster resurfaces, subtly challenging her bonds with the Yamadas. Throughout these trials, Kento’s adaptability and steadfast commitment to both familial and caregiving duties underscore his pragmatic yet compassionate approach to navigating domestic and professional challenges.
