His involvement becomes crucial when Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière and Saito Hiraga discover Saito's fading familiar runes. They seek Vidalshal specifically because he previously intervened to revive Saito after a fatal incident, demonstrating his capability to manipulate life forces or wield advanced healing magic.
