Description
Guiche de Grammont, a noble student at Tristain Academy of Magic, flaunts a flamboyant demeanor and cultivates a self-styled image as a charismatic pursuer of romance. Hailing from the militarily distinguished Grammont family, he wields earth magic to summon bronze golems shaped like armored knights adorned with maid aprons. His wand remains hidden within a rose, a signature flourish, while his familiar—Verdandi, a female giant mole—embodies his peculiar blend of nobility and eccentricity.

Initially vain and boastful, Guiche juggles affections for multiple girls, notably Montmorency, his primary partner. His duplicitous romantic ventures spark conflicts, such as a duel with Saito after exposure for two-timing. Though prone to cowardice, he displays flashes of valor when defending his honor. Gradually evolving beyond comic arrogance, he reveals loyalty and courage befitting his aristocratic lineage, later serving as vice-captain of the Undine Knights under Saito’s leadership.

Despite retaining flirtatious habits, Guiche matures into a figure balancing noble duty with earnest heroism. His turbulent bond with Montmorency persists, strained by infidelity yet anchored in mutual devotion. Recognition arrives via knighthood bestowed by Princess Henrietta for his contributions during the Albion invasion, cementing his military heritage’s influence on his strategic acumen and peer-protective instincts.

Guiche’s journey transitions him from a comedic rival to a cooperative ally, collaborating with Saito and Louise in pivotal missions. While occasionally lapsing into past frivolity, his narrative underscores enduring integrity and adaptability within the academy’s social order, sustained by his earth magic, golem tactics, and unorthodox partnership with Verdandi.
