He participates in multiple academy incidents. During Louise de la Vallière's familiar summoning exam, he openly mocks her for summoning a human. Later, he witnesses the confrontation involving Guiche, Montmorency, and Katie, laughing when Guiche is slapped. When Saito Hiraga seeks directions to Vestri Field before dueling Guiche, Malicorne provides them, anticipating the fight.
