Hikaru Tokita is a Japanese voice actress and stage performer born on September 16, 1976, in Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent management firm Office Watanabe. Her journey into voice acting began during high school, where she was a member of the broadcasting drama club. Although she initially pursued a university degree in electronic engineering, her passion for performance led her to train at the prestigious voice actor school run by renowned voice actor Kazuhiko Inoue, where she was a third-term graduate.

Tokita launched her professional career around the year 2000. Her debut role was as Santa Kurosu in the anime Daa! Daa! Daa!. From 2001 to August 2009, she was under contract with the agency Genki Project before moving to her current agency, Office Watanabe. Throughout her career, she has become well-known for her vibrant and versatile vocal abilities, particularly her skill in portraying energetic young boys, tomboys, and other characters with a neutral or androgynous quality.

Her filmography includes a wide range of anime roles. Among her early prominent parts was Shun Nitta in the 2001 series Captain Tsubasa. She is also recognized for providing the Japanese voice of Sword Knight in the series Kirby: Right Back At Ya!. In the 2007 anime Potemayo, she voiced the character Mudo Kirihara. Another significant and recurring role is that of Malicorne de Grandpré in The Familiar of Zero franchise, appearing in the original 2006 series, The Familiar of Zero F, and other installments. Her other anime credits include roles in Monster (as the young Karl Neumann), Tenjho Tenge (as Shin Natsume), and Soul Link.

Beyond anime, Tokita has contributed her voice to video games, such as the character Yatagarasu in Ayakashibito, and has an extensive background in stage performance, including musical theater with the Densho Kagekidan troupe. Throughout her career, she has frequently collaborated with other voice actors, with notable recurring partnerships including Rie Kugimiya and other cast members from the various The Familiar of Zero series.
