Description
Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière is the third daughter of Duke Sandorion de la Vallière and Karin de la Vallière, a noble family in the kingdom of Tristain. She has two older sisters, Éléonore and Cattleya, sharing complex relationships—frequently clashing with Éléonore while maintaining a close bond with Cattleya. Her childhood friendship with Princess Henrietta de Tristain leads to her adoption as Henrietta's sister, positioning her as heir presumptive to the Tristain throne.

She begins as a sophomore student at the Tristain Academy of Magic, earning the derogatory nickname "Louise the Zero" due to consistent failures in casting spells. These failures stemmed from her latent affinity for Void magic, a rare and powerful fifth elemental magic that nullified conventional elemental spells. During a familiar summoning ritual, she inadvertently summoned Saito Hiraga, a human from Earth, binding him as her familiar with Gandálfr runes that granted him enhanced combat abilities. Their contentious relationship, marked by Louise's harsh treatment of Saito, evolved into mutual love and eventual marriage. After marrying Saito, she adopted the name Louise Françoise le Blanc de Hiraga de Ornielle.

Physically petite (153–156 cm), Louise possesses long, curly pink hair and pink eyes. Her standard academy attire includes a white blouse, gray pleated skirt, thigh-high black stockings, Mary Jane shoes, and a long black cloak fastened with a bronze clasp. She always carries a wand essential for spellcasting. For undercover missions ordered by Henrietta, she adopted plebeian disguises like a brown dress, cap, and sandals, or a maid uniform at the Charming Fairy Inn.

Her personality blends tsundere traits—masking affection with initial abrasiveness toward Saito—with a strong sense of aristocratic duty. She exhibits fierce jealousy, particularly toward familial rival Kirche von Zerbst and other women interacting with Saito, often reacting with physical outbursts or explosive magic. Despite this, she demonstrates loyalty, courage, and selflessness, notably renouncing her nobility to rescue classmate Tabitha from imprisonment in Gallia. Her mastered Void magic abilities include spells like *Explosion*, *Dispel*, *Illusion*, *Teleport*, *World Door* (creating interdimensional portals), and *Language Comprehension*. These powers required significant charging time, during which her Gandálfr familiar protected her.

In "Rondo of Princesses," Louise's development intensifies. After Saito's Gandálfr runes faded due to near-fatal injuries, she renewed their contract, reinforcing their bond. The season introduced Tiffania Westwood, a half-elf and fellow Void mage whose presence complicated Louise's dynamic with Saito, sparking jealousy and forcing Louise to confront insecurities. Political tensions escalated as King Joseph of Gallia and his familiar Sheffield targeted Louise for her Void magic. Her status as Henrietta’s heir grew more prominent, intertwining personal struggles with Tristain’s stability. Key events included her leading a rescue mission for Tabitha against royal orders and participating in battles against Joseph’s forces, culminating in a confrontation to prevent the awakening of the ancient weapon Jormungand.

Across media, Louise’s journey encompasses growth from a ridiculed student to a confident Void mage, a leader in military conflicts, and a central figure in Tristain’s political future. Her relationship with Saito remains a cornerstone, evolving through trials including his knighthood, their marital commitment, and interdimensional travel to his world.
