Description
Anna Stephanie, the youngest Cosmic Culture Club member at 14, exhibits a quiet, reserved nature marked by high intuition and empathy. These traits allow her to perceive inherent goodness in others, leading her to become the first survivor to befriend and trust Eiji Asuka, despite his partial Gradosian heritage and their initial encounter's circumstances.
As part of a UN peace initiative during an intensified Cold War, she travels to Mars in 1996 with the club. Upon their arrival at the UN Mars base, the facility is destroyed in a crossfire between combatants piloting advanced robotic vehicles. This attack kills most club members, leaving Anna among only six survivors stranded on the planet.
After the base's destruction, she witnesses Eiji emerge from the sole remaining robotic vehicle, the SPT-LZ-00X Layzner, and hears his warning that Earth is targeted. Throughout the ensuing conflict, she remains with the small group attempting to return to Earth to warn humanity of the Gradosian invasion. Her empathetic perspective also serves as the narrative voice for the story.
