Hiroko Emori is a veteran Japanese voice actress and narrator born on January 27, 1961, in Saitama Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent management firm Aoni Production. Emori began her career in 1984, making her debut as Yukari in the anime Wingman.

Throughout her extensive career, Emori has been known for her remarkable vocal range, capable of portraying characters of all ages and types, from young boys and energetic girls to mature women, mothers, and elderly grandmothers. This versatility has made her a sought-after talent across numerous long-running anime series. One of her most iconic and enduring roles is Chiaotzu in the Dragon Ball franchise, a part she voiced for nearly thirty years across Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Kai, and Dragon Ball Super. In the long-running series Nintama Rantarō, she demonstrates her range by regularly voicing three distinct characters: Tomomi, Kato Danzo, and Yume-mae Sanjiro.

Emori's filmography includes a vast number of notable roles across various genres. In the 1980s, she was cast as Anna Stephanie in Aoki Ryūsei SPT Layzner and as Sunakake Baba in the third GeGeGe no Kitarō series. She also voiced Kiki and a young Seiya in Saint Seiya, as well as Satan Maria in the Bikkuriman franchise. The 1990s saw her as Tsunade in the Tengai Makyō game series, Balm and other characters in Sailor Moon, and Chiyako Matsuura in Marmalade Boy. In more recent years, her credits include Jora in One Piece and various guest roles in Case Closed.

Beyond anime, Emori is also a prominent narrator, providing voiceovers for many Japanese television programs, including variety shows, documentaries, and educational content.
