Hiroko Emori is a veteran Japanese voice actress and narrator born on January 27, 1961, in Saitama Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent management firm Aoni Production. Emori began her career in 1984, making her debut as Yukari in the anime Wingman.
Throughout her extensive career, Emori has been known for her remarkable vocal range, capable of portraying characters of all ages and types, from young boys and energetic girls to mature women, mothers, and elderly grandmothers. This versatility has made her a sought-after talent across numerous long-running anime series. One of her most iconic and enduring roles is Chiaotzu in the Dragon Ball franchise, a part she voiced for nearly thirty years across Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Kai, and Dragon Ball Super. In the long-running series Nintama Rantarō, she demonstrates her range by regularly voicing three distinct characters: Tomomi, Kato Danzo, and Yume-mae Sanjiro.
