TV-Series
Description
Cab is the hereditary prince of the South Pacific's Karin Islands who actively shirks royal duties for a solitary life in the jungle. His upbringing there makes him an expert in survival, including building shelters, cooking with natural materials, and knife handling. He uniquely communicates with animals, maintaining close bonds with an armadillo and a parrot that follow him even after leaving the islands.
His life changes when Decepticon Pretaders relentlessly target the Karin Islands. Rescued by Autobots Metalhawk and Diver, Cab befriends Shūta Gō. Jealous of Shūta's Autobot connection, Cab enrolls at the International School of Japan to join them. Preferring a natural lifestyle, he builds a technology-free treehouse near Autobot Base instead of dormitories.
Cab becomes an Autobot Headmaster Junior, bonding with a fire-engine Transtector using Master-Braces. These grant enhanced strength, speed, and reflexes, enabling him to transform into the Transtector's head. His designated role is fire extinguishing and disaster defense. In combat, his signature technique is "Lightning Fire," absorbing flames to unleash punches five times more powerful.
Cab exhibits a brash, impulsive personality, often acting bravely to recklessness. He struggles with perceived immaturity, evident when scolded by Metalhawk for underestimating foes like the Godmaster brothers, leading to impulsive acts like drinking scalding tea to prove maturity, resulting in comedic mishaps. Despite this, he develops teamwork skills, collaborating with Shūta in America to defeat Decepticon forces like Lobclaw.
His connection to the Karin Islands remains strong through regular correspondence and care packages like coconuts; he returns during summer breaks. When Decepticons endanger Viscas Island's tidal plant and his childhood friend Copo, Cab helps relocate her for treatment while aiding Autobot counteroperations. His jungle skills prove valuable, such as preparing traditional fire-pit feasts for allies like Ginrai.
Cab participates in major conflicts, defending Autobot Base against Decepticon double-agent Clouder and battling combiners like King Poseidon. During the final battle against Devil Z, Cab and the other Headmaster Juniors combine their Chōkon Power with Godbomber to amplify God Ginrai's "Final Fire Guts" attack. Following Devil Z's defeat, Cab permanently loses his transformation abilities but retains his core identity, having evolved from a reluctant prince into a dedicated protector.
