Mintusa is a green rabbit with brown eyes, one of fourteen bunny twins from the magical world of Bunniesfield. He specializes as a gelatiere, crafting gelato alongside his twin brother, Buchiusa, a white rabbit with black spots. Transported to the human world by the Two Queens for a task related to their dessert expertise, they encountered Sophia, a young girl aspiring to be a pastry chef. The twins initially concealed themselves as plush toys in Sophia's home before being discovered by the town. Mintusa now resides with one of Sophia's friends, sharing the home with three other bunnies.

He possesses a strong enthusiasm for eating, particularly sweet foods, and shows great appreciation for the cakes made by fellow bunnies Shirousa and Kurousa, aligning with his gelato production role. Mintusa interacts with all members of the larger group of twin bunnies, each pair specializing in distinct fields like pastry, floral work, glassmaking, jam production, coffee preparation, and bread baking, while his central relationship remains his close gelato-making collaboration with Buchiusa.
