Description
Dalton, a character from the Drum Island Arc featured in *One Piece: Episode of Chopper Plus: Bloom in Winter, Miracle Sakura*, served as a Royal Guard under Drum Kingdom’s tyrannical king, Wapol. Witnessing Dr. Hiriluk’s self-sacrifice and compassion shattered his loyalty, leading him to oppose Wapol. After the Blackbeard Pirates’ attack forced Wapol’s flight, Dalton maintained order and became king of the successor Sakura Kingdom.
During the Straw Hats’ arrival on Drum Island, Dalton initially distrusts pirates but permits Luffy’s crew passage after observing their genuine concern for Nami. He defends civilians against Wapol’s forces during their island-recapture attempt, intercepting attacks on citizens and confronting Wapol directly.
Dalton wields the Ushi Ushi no Mi, Model: Bison, a Zoan-type Devil Fruit allowing full bison or hybrid transformations. His hybrid form amplifies strength and speed, retaining armor plates on his forelegs. Prioritizing agility in combat, he evades bullets and traverses terrain swiftly.
