Marco Balzarotti is an esteemed Italian voice actor, born in Magenta, Italy, on 2 March 1961, with a career spanning over four decades since he began in 1982. He launched his professional journey after graduating from the CTA (Centro Teatro Attivo) in Milan. Balzarotti is widely recognized for his prolific work in dubbing, providing the Italian voices for a vast array of characters in anime, animated series, films, and video games, and has worked with studios such as Merak Film.

Balzarotti is celebrated for several signature roles that have defined his career. He is the definitive Italian voice of Bruce Wayne and his superhero alter ego Batman, having dubbed the character in a multitude of animated series starting from the 1992 classic Batman: The Animated Series, through to numerous subsequent shows and films like Batman: Gotham Knight. He has also voiced Batman extensively in the acclaimed Batman: Arkham video game series, a performance that earned him the award for Best Voice Actor in a Video Game at the Voci nell'Ombra festival in 2015. Beyond the Dark Knight, he is renowned for being the voice of Mamoru Chiba, also known as Tuxedo Mask, in the Italian adaptation of Sailor Moon, and for voicing the character Dragon Shiryu in the various installments of Saint Seiya.
