Description
Takuya Gorozu started as a researcher in a 1999 experiment testing a new laser weapon system on Sansara Island. An unexpected satellite laser firing during the test triggered the emergence of a mysterious metallic entity from the ocean. Pressured by their superior Galun, Takuya and colleague Haruka Alford retrieved a sample, sustaining injuries. This event drove Takuya to abandon the project, sever his relationship with fellow researcher Lyse Molun, and depart the island.
Three years later in 1987, Takuya received a distressed letter purportedly from Haruka, demanding his return to Sansara Island. Upon arrival, he reunited with Lyse—now a military warrant officer—and confronted Galun, the current project director. He discovered Haruka behaving erratically: denying sending the letter, exhibiting unnatural strength, suffering violent anger episodes, and isolating himself for prolonged stretches. This spurred Takuya to investigate covertly.
His probe revealed the original laser experiment had opened a dimensional portal, permitting biomechanical entities from another universe to infiltrate their world. Haruka had secretly experimented on one such entity, undergoing gradual physical and mental metamorphosis. With aid from Haruka’s assistant Rui, Takuya accessed confidential files exposing Haruka’s development of a dimensional transfer cannon that fused with a demonic creature called Ika Oni. After Rui died during military intervention, Haruka fully merged with Ika Oni and initiated a destructive rampage through the facility.
In response, the military reactivated the satellite laser, summoning a second oceanic entity named Hagane. Takuya piloted this biomechanical creature to battle Haruka and Ika Oni. The conflict ended when Takuya destroyed Ika Oni, catastrophically obliterating most of Sansara Island. He was last seen regaining consciousness while adrift on debris in the surrounding waters.
Physically, Takuya Gorozu possesses blue hair, a scarred face, and a rugged, intimidating appearance. His demeanor reflects determination and resilience throughout the crisis.
