Description
Known as Musshuru and designated E. C. 1, he is the elder brother of Drum Island's deposed king, Wapol. Exiled alongside his brother before the story begins, Musshuru burns with vengeance against the islanders who forced them out. Their banishment resulted from the Blackbeard Pirates' violent takeover, which also drove Wapol from his throne.

Musshuru wields a Devil Fruit power that enables him to create and command deadly spores. He unleashes these toxins in swift, aggressive assaults as he fights to retake Drum Island. Partnered with Wapol, he scales the central peak, orchestrating attacks on both the Straw Hat Pirates and the island's defenders. Speed defines his fighting approach, allowing him to initially overpower adversaries such as Luffy and to disable even Wapol's own men, Chess and Kuromarimo, with his poisonous spores.

A fraught power imbalance defines Musshuru's bond with Wapol. Tension simmers when Wapol uses the informal "An-chan" for his brother, while Musshuru demands the honorific "An-sama" — asserting his claim to respect even as he backs Wapol's quest for the throne. Their strained alliance ends in treachery: after Musshuru falls in combat, Wapol devours him with the Baku Baku no Mi ability. This act merges Musshuru, Wapol, and a cannon into the monstrous "Wapol Cannon," a hybrid weapon poised to blanket the island in Musshuru's lethal spores as a last vengeful strike.

Musshuru appears exclusively in this alternate version of the Drum Island storyline. He does not feature in any other seasons, films, OVAs, or spin-offs, nor does he receive expanded backstory or development beyond this arc. The 2014 special edition frames the entire narrative as Chopper's dream during the timeskip, yet leaves Musshuru's role and lore unchanged.
