Description
Milk is a fairy from the Palmier Kingdom, appearing as a small white and pink rabbit-like creature with long ears and a red bow. In the first season she serves as a caretaker for the princes Coco and Nuts, taking her role seriously and often clashing with Nozomi Yumehara over the latter’s carefree attitude. In Yes! Precure 5 GoGo!, Milk discovers a glowing blue seed—the Blue Rose of Miracles—left behind after an earlier incident. By planting and nurturing it, she gains the power to assume a human form, adopting the name Kurumi Mimino. In this form she appears as a fourteen-year-old transfer student with long, wavy violet hair and fuchsia eyes, often styled with a red ribbon. Her elegant and composed demeanor is a deliberate mask that conceals her true, rather eccentric personality.
Kurumi can further transform into the warrior Milky Rose by calling out Skyrose Translate using her Milky Palette. As Milky Rose she wears a violet and white outfit decorated with blue rose motifs and wields weapons such as the Milky Note and Milky Mirror. Her introductory phrase is The Blue Rose is the Secret Mark, Milky Rose. Initially she does not reveal her identity to the five Precure girls, appearing as a mysterious ally who helps them in battle and even outperforms them in early encounters. The team is unsure whether she is friend or foe until her true nature is uncovered. Milk’s motivations stem from her loyalty to the Palmier Kingdom and her desire to protect it alongside the Precure, as well as a personal drive to prove her worth as more than a support fairy.
Throughout the series, Kurumi maintains a cool and sometimes aloof attitude, but beneath it she is earnest and competitive. She frequently argues with Nozomi, especially when the latter’s impulsiveness endangers plans, yet she gradually learns to trust and cooperate with the group. Her key relationships include a close but rivalrous bond with Nozomi (as Cure Dream), a more reserved connection with Karen Minazuki (who interacts with her civilian form), and occasional entanglements with the fairy Syrup. As a character, she develops from a dutiful yet insecure fairy into a confident warrior who fully embraces her role as a protector. However, she cannot maintain her human form indefinitely; doing so drains her energy and forces her to revert to her original fairy shape.

She also possesses enhanced combat strength, agility, and the power of the blue rose, which allows her to perform powerful rose-themed techniques. Her civilian name Kurumi Mimino is a pun: when reversed, it sounds like Miruku no Mimi, meaning Milk’s ears in Japanese.
