Description
Yudias Velgear hails from Planet Velgear in the Velgearian Star Cluster, a former military leader who commanded 8.88 million inhabitants aboard the colossal spacecraft Varivelgear. Shaped by interstellar conflicts under mentor Zuwijo Zwil Velgear, whose tragic death during a mission forged his abhorrence of sacrifice, Yudias initially rejected Tributing monsters in Rush Duels—viewing it as wasteful loss—until recognizing its tactical value. Exiled by war, he pursued a prophecy tying Rush Dueling to his people’s salvation, crash-landing on Earth to train under siblings Yuhi and Yuamu Ohdo at their alien-tracking enterprise, UTS. Struggling with Earth’s customs, he fumbled technology and social cues but adapted through his UTS role, blending alien resolve with human camaraderie.

His striking appearance features pale skin, spiky blue-and-silver hair with antenna-like strands, and aqua eyes marked by yellow crescents. In his native form, crimson facial patterns contrast his gold-trimmed white trench coat, complemented by a retractable blade. Human disguises include a UTS uniform with an orange coat and signature accessories. When critically weakened, he shrinks to a vulnerable, shirt-sized form, reliant on allies for recovery.

Yudias wields ocular lasers for precise destruction or repair, superhuman strength, and survival in harsh environments, yet rigidly honors duel rules, never exploiting these advantages. Trained in combat and strategy, his prowess falters only against restraints forged from cosmic metals.

Earnest and theatrically eloquent, he leads with fervent idealism, though distrust of deceit fuels confrontational outbursts. Parallel-world encounters and clashes with foes like Otes and Kuaidul Velgear sharpened his duel tactics into aggressive precision, particularly through Ritual Summons. His arc culminates in reconciling pacifism with necessary conflict, adopting the Ohdo name, and anchoring himself in the past as a linchpin for future generations.

His Galaxy-type Deck evolves from straightforward assaults to layered strategies incorporating Tributes and Rituals, mirroring growth marked by pivotal duels—triumphs and defeats alike—against figures like Zuwijo and Yuna Goha. Bridging cosmic duty and earthly bonds, his legacy weaves through time, shaping Rush Dueling’s dawn and the fates of both Velgearians and humanity.
