Description
Hasga Entolio is a supporting character from the light novel and anime series A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives, known for his aggressive temperament and role as a half-elf spell breaker. Physically, Hasga is a young male of below-average height for his universe, standing approximately 174 centimeters tall. He has distinctive violet or dark blue hair, sharp yellow or gold eyes that are often compared to a wolf's, and possesses the characteristic forehead line or ridge common to half-elves in his world. His clothing style typically involves a vest and torn pants, bearing a resemblance to the attire of his older brother, Serge Entolio.

Hasga's personality is markedly hostile, volatile, and prone to violent outbursts. This behavior contrasts sharply with the calmer, more level-headed nature of his older brother, Serge. Hasga's temper is especially pronounced in his interactions with human characters, such as Haruka Shigure, and he reacts aggressively whenever his own honor or his brother's is called into question. In many instances, his wrath requires Serge's direct intervention to prevent the situation from escalating further. Despite his fierce and thuggish demeanor, which has been described as resembling a delinquent or "yankee," Hasga possesses underlying traits that suggest a reluctance to harm innocent people when he is not acting under direct duress. This internal conflict hints at a more conflicted nature beneath his hostile exterior.

In terms of background, Hasga and his brother are half-elves who face significant discrimination within the elf world due to their mixed heritage. Their mother, Ela of the East, is held captive by the mysterious Church organization, which subjects her to traumatic experiments. The Entolio family name itself functions as a curse that forcibly binds Hasga and Serge to serve the Church without the ability to disobey. This coerced servitude serves as the primary motivation for all of Hasga's actions. He and his brother work together professionally as "Spell Breakers," mercenaries-for-hire who specialize in the destruction and removal of magical seals and curses. However, their true aim is not profit but the desperate rescue of their mother, a goal that drives them to perform a number of morally compromising tasks.

Within the story's narrative, Hasga initially fills the role of an antagonist for the main characters, including Taito Kurogane and Saitohimea. The Church orders the brothers to capture Saitohimea, which leads them to the human world and into direct conflict with the protagonists. Hasga's primary contribution to this mission involves the kidnapping of Haruka Shigure, using her as leverage to manipulate both Saitohimea and Taito into compliance. Upon successfully freeing their mother, however, Hasga and Serge undergo a significant character shift, transitioning from adversaries to allies. They subsequently integrate into the main group, joining Gekkou Kurenai's student council at Miyasaka High School and participating alongside the protagonists in the ongoing struggles against the Church and the military.

Hasga's most important relationships are with his family members. His bond with his older brother Serge is central to his character, as Serge frequently acts as a moderating influence who must calm Hasga's fury and also works to periodically seal away Hasga's own volatile power to prevent it from destroying him. The drive to rescue their mother, Ela, unites the brothers and represents their sole motivation for serving the Church against their will.

In terms of abilities, Hasga's primary power is a highly specialized form of destructive magic. He functions as a spell breaker, with the unique ability to shatter seals, barriers, curses, and other magical constructs that would be impervious to normal attacks. When he utilizes his power, his fists are surrounded by a red aura, and a single black horn emerges from his forehead, a physical trait he shares with other elves in his universe. However, Hasga's power is noted to be exceptionally strong and dangerous; without the regular intervention of his brother Serge to seal it, he is unable to even maintain his physical form. Furthermore, unlike traditional elves who draw power from spirits, Hasga and his brother derive their abilities from an unknown and mysterious source, setting them apart from their own kind.
