Hinata Kurenai is the younger twin brother of Gekkou Kurenai. Born with unnatural intelligence, wisdom, and immense magical power, he perceived apocalyptic prophecies from an early age. This foreknowledge corrupted him into a remorseless monster who sacrificed his parents to a demon before his brother to forge a contract. He erased Taito Kurogane's memories of the vampire Saitohimea and delivered her to the Church for imprisonment and experimentation. Serving the Church's interests while pursuing his own goals, he views all humans—including Gekkou—as inferior due to their ignorance of the impending apocalypse and carefree existence. His nihilism and god complex remain unchanged over nine years. Hinata wields destructive magic and forms pacts with powerful demons to advance his objectives. He and Gekkou are collectively known as the "Unfortunate Double Headed Crow" (双頭の鴉), having been created by the Tenma, godlike entities whose prophecy dictates their roles. His actions consistently oppose his brother, whom he targeted for sacrifice after killing their parents. He experiences no redemption or significant development, remaining a ruthless antagonist driven by his corrupted worldview and allegiance to higher powers.
