Fitoria reigns as Queen of the Filolials and wields the Carriage Vassal Weapon, one of the lost eight Legendary Weapons. Raised centuries ago by a previous Shield Hero, she inherited responsibility for ensuring the Legendary Heroes cooperate to combat the Waves of Catastrophe. Following her master's death, she gained the duty of eliminating uncooperative heroes to permit new summons, a task she maintains across generations. Her prolonged lifespan, exceeding normal Filolial limits, may relate to consuming the Red Poison or her status as a modified Filolial possessing special protection genes. She safeguards ancient ruins tied to the original Legendary Heroes and patrols inhabited regions, often disguised as a normal Filolial.
In her true Filolial form, Fitoria manifests as a colossal bird-like creature approximately 20 meters tall, featuring predominantly white feathers accented by light blue neck plumage, yellow-tipped crown feathers, and one long back feather with a blue dip. She can shrink to normal Filolial size for disguise. Her human form resembles a young girl with silver-blue bobbed hair, red eyes, and three vertical cowlicks. She typically wears a red-and-white gothic lolita-style dress with sock-like silk boots, standing about Filo's height.
Fitoria displays a serious and authoritative demeanor, though she exhibits classic Filolial traits like forgetfulness, gluttony, and occasional "animal stupidity." Centuries of isolation from mortals fostered indifference towards most inhabitants, disillusioned by their petty conflicts and selfishness. She interacts primarily with Legendary Heroes, openly expressing disappointment when they prioritize infighting over cooperation. Despite her stern approach, she shows compassion to those demonstrating genuine care for Filolials. Her deep hatred of dragons influences her actions, including locking away dragon-related weapons.
Her abilities encompass high-level transformation magic, enabling shifts between human and Filolial forms while adjusting size. She wields immense physical strength and speed, demonstrated by effortlessly defeating the Tyrant Dragon Rex and tearing apart the Dragon Emperor. Her magical arsenal includes the "Haikuikku" rapid-strike technique and "Counterbalance," which nullifies spells by analyzing their structure. As a Vassal Wielder, she bestows crests that double stats and enable telepathic communication, notably given to Filo. She also creates barriers to contain threats and teleports groups using her carriage.
Within the main storyline, Fitoria first tests Filo's capabilities through a duel, prepared to kill all current heroes if Filo failed. Recognizing Filo's potential, she designates her as a successor and activates Naofumi's Filolial Shield Series. She later aids against global threats like the Spirit Tortoise. In spin-offs such as Reprise of the Spear Hero, she interacts with Motoyasu, dubbing him "Big Filolial-sama" while wary of his Dragon Hourglass Needle. Within that context, she has three additional successors: Sakura, Yuki, and Kou. Her approach evolves from threatening non-cooperative heroes to offering conditional guidance, reflecting centuries observing hero dynamics.
Fitoria's relationships include mentoring Filo as her primary successor and enabling communication between her and Naofumi. She advises Naofumi to collaborate with other heroes but remains distrusted due to her secrecy. She despises dragons, hoarding anti-dragon weapons in her sanctuary. Her interactions with Motoyasu involve avoidance of his obsessive behavior, though she acknowledges his importance during crises. She occasionally displays playful pettiness, such as withholding power-ups or feigning ignorance when displeased.
