Description
Enpi-chan, also known as Enbi-chan, is the older sister of Enma and niece of Great King Enma. Originating from the Enma-kun series, she features in multiple adaptations like manga and anime. Her driving goal is transforming the world into a "fun and sexy place," frequently implementing chaotic plans that occasionally cause temporary peace before collapsing comically.

In her original manga series, she undertakes explicit 18+ adventures blending horror and comedy. These include confronting a Robocop-inspired entity enforcing public nudity laws (which she evades via animal disguise) and battling foes such as a Jason Voorhees clone. Her stories incorporate absurd, risqué elements like nudity and sexual humor, reflecting Go Nagai's signature style.

Within the 2011 anime, she initially acts as a minor antagonist, releasing demons to create a more entertaining and sensual reality. Her actions often disrupt Enma's missions. However, she later allies with Enma and the Yokai Patrol against greater threats, including an angelic invasion. She demonstrates moral complexity, ethically opposing plans like the "Global Genocide" proposed by Heaven and Hell, positioning her as an anti-hero.

Her abilities include sensing demons via physical reactions in her nipples, phasing through solid matter, flight using her staff, and enhanced strength and durability. Her magical staff emits rays that amplify sexual arousal in targets. She typically appears nearly nude, wearing only boots, elbow-length gloves, a cape, and a hat. This hat critically regulates her emotions: removal triggers intense rage and impulsivity, while wearing it restores composure. She considers clothing embarrassing and morally offensive, leading to frequent conflicts over her exhibitionism.

Her character development shows a shift from solitary provocateur to reluctant team member. In later anime episodes, she demonstrates loyalty to Enma during cosmic conflicts against angelic forces, participating in battles using her unique powers. Her flamboyant personality is reflected in her design, featuring skull-shaped kneepads and an expressive hair accessory. Despite chaotic methods, her underlying desire for a better world sometimes aligns with the protagonists' goals.

In spin-offs like the gender-flipped parody manga "Dororon Enpi-chan," she serves as the protagonist, with the series emphasizing even more overt sexuality and absurdist comedy. Across all appearances, her consistent traits are a blend of hedonism, combat pragmatism, and occasional heroism, driven by a distorted yet genuine idealism.
