Description
Shiraf operates as an agent arranging fixed Battling matches for Irvine Lester, secretly fighting as "The Dark" under Shiraf's management. He facilitates payments to Irvine for intentional losses, maintaining the deception that funds Irvine and his sister Donna. Aware of Irvine's combat aversion from wartime trauma, Shiraf respects his refusal of deathmatches despite higher profit potential. Tension arises with Donna, who disapproves of Shiraf's Battling involvement; he acknowledges her hostility during visits to their repair shop.

Shiraf shares a military history with Irvine, referenced in conversations about past combat. He mentions old service injuries—scars aching after acid rain—informing his protective stance toward Irvine's desire for peace. Shiraf actively shields Irvine from external pressures to resume genuine fighting. When rival promoter Ishruna attempts to recruit Irvine, Shiraf initially resists her offers but later appears compromised, likely due to financial incentives.

His role intensifies when Ishruna manipulates a match pitting Irvine against volatile fighter Paygun. After Paygun's rampage destroys the arena and threatens civilians, Shiraf assumes blame for the outcome. In a final protective act, he confronts Paygun alone in an Armored Trooper laden with explosives. Shiraf declares his intent to preserve Irvine's "peaceful dream" before attacking, dying when Paygun triggers the detonation. This sacrifice compels Irvine to face his trauma and return to combat.

Shiraf's involvement is confined to "Case;Irvine," with no documented appearances in other Votoms media.
