He primarily pilots the Soulgain mecha but has operated units like the Ashsaviour, Laz Angriff, and Vysaga across different timelines. Originally an Earth Federation Army member, Axel defected to Shadow-Mirror over ideological clashes fueled by his fierce rivalry with Beowulf, whom he blamed for his home dimension’s destruction—a rivalry later extended to Kyosuke Nanbu, Beowulf’s multiverse counterpart.
