Nygglatho Astartus, known as Nygglatho, is a Troll, a powerful carnivorous race feared across Règles Aile. Her father ran an inn on Island 11. As a teenager, she joined the Orlandry Merchant Guild and undertook various missions. One critical expedition escorting an excavation team to the planet's surface led her to discover Willem Kmetsch petrified in ice; she secured his recovery and transport back to the Sky Islands for revival.
Internal conflicts within the Orlandry Merchant Guild resulted in Nygglatho's reassignment as the guild's liaison to the Guardian Wings Military at the Fairy Warehouse on Island 68. There, she became the primary caretaker for the young Leprechauns, genetically engineered soldiers wielding ancient weapons against Beasts. Initially welcomed cordially by Island 68 residents, her reputation shifted dramatically after she singlehandedly destroyed an Orc-led criminal organization threatening the Leprechauns, casting her as a terrifying figure.
