Movie
Description
Someoka Ryuugo joins the nascent Raimon soccer club alongside Handa Shinichi when only Endou Mamoru and Aki are present, becoming one of its earliest members. As a forward and self-proclaimed ace striker, he initially bristles with jealousy towards the newly transferred Gouenji Shuuya due to Gouenji's superior shooting skills. This rivalry transforms into cooperation, resulting in their collaborative hissatsu technique, Dragon Tornado. Someoka also masters the solo technique Dragon Crash. An injury sustained during a match against Nose sidelines him, leading Domon to take his position.
During the conflict against Aliea Gakuen, Someoka struggles to accept Fubuki Shirou as Gouenji's replacement forward, believing Gouenji's position as ace striker should remain unchallenged. Endou's intervention eventually leads him to accept Fubuki, recognizing the necessity of strengthening the team for Gouenji's return. Their partnership yields the combination hissatsu Wyvern Blizzard. However, an untreated injury combined with overexertion while perfecting his new technique causes critical damage to his leg, requiring extended hospitalization at Inazuma General Hospital for the season's duration. While recovering, he is recruited into the Dark Emperors team and faces defeat against Raimon.
Striving to join Inazuma Japan during the Football Frontier International arc, Someoka is initially omitted from the team despite scoring with Wyvern Crash V2 in a selection match. He persists with rigorous training and later replaces the injured Fubuki Shirou on Inazuma Japan alongside Sakuma Jirou. During the FFI tournament, he masters the Dragon Slayer shoot technique, progressively advancing it to V3. In the final against Little Gigant, his Dragon Slayer V3 is blocked by Rococo's God Hand X. He sustains a further injury blocking Drago's Double Jaw with his body, leading to his substitution. He participates in both the FFI victory celebration and Raimon's graduation ceremony. Later, in a match between original Raimon members and later additions, his attempts to score with Dragon Slayer V3 fail against evolved goalkeeper techniques.
In the movie *Inazuma Eleven: Saikyō Gundan Ogre Shūrai*, Someoka is among the first eleven members forming the Raimon team to challenge the Ogre team. He endures significant physical punishment from opponents like Baddap Sleed during the intense match. When Endou Kanon joins the team mid-match, Someoka provides his own jersey to Kanon.
Following Raimon's Football Frontier victory, the Soccer Association president orders the team to disband and spread across Japan to strengthen the country's soccer level, a decision Someoka reacts to angrily. He reappears significantly older and calmer in *Inazuma Eleven GO* as a professional player in the Italian league and the coach of Nishiki Ryouma. He observes Nishiki's matches, showing pride in his pupil's development, such as the manifestation of his Keshin, and maintains a habit of bringing food during visits. He also appears briefly watching Raimon matches via phone while traveling.
In *Inazuma Eleven Ares no Tenbin*, he joins Hakuren Middle School as part of the soccer reinforcement committee, serving as a forward. He organizes the Hakuren soccer club, guiding its diverse members with passion and consideration, drawing on his experience as a former Raimon Eleven member. In *Inazuma Eleven Orion no Kokuin*, he appears with the Hakuren team congratulating Fubuki Shirou and Fubuki Atsuya on their FFI victory. In *Inazuma Eleven Outer Code*, he intervenes to stop a conflict between Hakuren members, urging them to focus on a televised match involving Inakuni Raimon.
Physically, Someoka possesses light brown skin, a muscular build, short pink hair, sharp black eyes, and a mole below his left eye. As an adult in *GO*, he is taller with tanner skin, slightly longer hair, and typically dons a white fedora, glasses, a light grey jacket, white shirt, and white pants.
His known hissatsu techniques include solo shoots Dragon Crash, Wyvern Crash, and Dragon Slayer; combination techniques Dragon Tornado (with Gouenji), Wyvern Blizzard (with Fubuki), Dark Phoenix (with Kazemaru and Megane), and Last Death Zone (with Hiroto and Fubuki in the movie *GO Vs. Danball Senki W*).
