Yasuyuki Kase is a Japanese voice actor born on March 14, 1971, in Ota, Tokyo. He began his career after graduating from the Tokyo Announce Gakuin Performing Arts College in 1991. Following time at a training school, he joined the agency Mausu Promotion in 1995. In late 2007, he became a freelancer before affiliating with his current agency, Office Osawa, in December of that year.

Kase has built a substantial career with a wide range of roles in anime, video games, and foreign film dubbing. He is perhaps best known to anime fans as the voice of Kankuro from the long-running Naruto and Naruto Shippuden series. Another significant and long-running role is Ryugo Someoka from the Inazuma Eleven franchise. His filmography also includes a variety of other characters, such as the calculating Hayashi in Pet, the skilled driver Falco in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the director Taishi Gotanda in Oshi no Ko, the enigmatic William Minerva in The Promised Neverland, and James Blood in Hero Mask. He has also voiced characters in major franchises, including Thor in Marvel anime adaptations like Marvel Future Avengers and Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers, Jarvis in Iron Man: Rise of Technovore, and roles in the Code Geuss series, including Walther Lindstedt in Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture. His role as V.IV Rusty in the video game Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon has also been particularly well-received.

Beyond anime, Kase is exceptionally active in the field of dubbing, providing the Japanese voice for foreign films and series. He has become the regular dubbing voice for several prominent Hollywood actors. Notably, he voices Ryan Reynolds in the majority of his roles, including the Deadpool films, and is also the regular Japanese voice for Paul Bettany, Leonardo DiCaprio, Chris Evans, and Josh Stewart. His work in dubbing is so prominent that it forms a major part of his career, showcasing a versatility that contrasts with many of his anime roles.
