Description
Shidō Mizuki is a werewolf yōkai serving as a police officer in Sakurashinmachi. He possesses light brown eyes and medium-length, slightly messy brown hair. His facial hair features sideburns connecting to a jawline beard in a "chin curtain" style, signaling his comfort with his nature. His typical attire is professional yet understated: a white long-sleeved shirt with a chest pocket, a black tie, and black trousers.

Orphaned as a child, he wandered into Sakurashinmachi where a vampire police officer and his wife took him in. Raised by this couple, their influence led him to join the police force. He attended school alongside V Juli F, Nadeshiko Matsudaira, and Noriko Shiina. After his adoptive parents were killed by a violent yōkai while protecting the newborn Tatebayashi twins, he assumed guardianship of Mina and Kana Tatebayashi. He raises them with support from the police department and community.

His personality is marked by humility and a strong sense of duty toward both the city and his family. He actively collaborates with groups like Akina Hiizumi's office to protect Sakurashinmachi, valuing community cooperation. He maintains composure and politeness even when handling interpersonal challenges, such as Nadeshiko Matsudaira's romantic interest or perceived inefficiencies from colleagues like Takao Takemura. His commitment to Mina and Kana's well-being is central to his motivations.

His primary ability is enhanced physical strength, enabling feats like supporting a light post with one arm or creating large craters with single punches. Eiji Shinozuka regards him as the strongest individual in town. During the events of "Tsuki ni Naku," while the main characters are on vacation, he led the police force against the yōkai hunter Rokkaku, who kidnapped Mina Tatebayashi. He engaged in fierce combat to rescue her, showcasing his protective instincts and combat prowess.

Key relationships define his role: he is the dedicated guardian of Mina and Kana, a subordinate to Nadeshiko Matsudaira, and a cooperative ally to other city protectors. He relies on colleagues for childcare support during duties, reflecting his integration within the community structure.
