Description
Baddap Sleed captains and plays forward for Ogre, a team from Ogre Gakuen military academy. As the son of a military general and a government official destined to become the nation’s first female prime minister, he inherited an early expectation of leadership. His rigorous education for future national command—coupled with his father’s reverence for Hibiki as a mentor—drove his enrollment at Ogre Gakuen. There, his extraordinary intelligence and physical capabilities outshone peers and seniors alike, cementing his status as a child prodigy. Key academy milestones include defeating Eskaba in a strategy debate by arguing for total psychological domination over simple victory, and overpowering Mistrene in a death battle after Mistrene developed an inferiority complex toward him. These feats showcased Baddap’s strategic and combat superiority, prompting Bauzen to identify intense anger within him. When assembling Ogre, he appointed Eskaba and Mistrene as advisors for their talents and launched "Operation Thunderbreak."

Physically, he sports spiky gray hair with two shoulder-length locks, red eyes, and tanned skin. A forehead mark designating his captaincy manifests upon his leadership appointment. His standard uniform is a grey military-style jacket with two chest pockets and a clover leaf emblem on the left. Initially calm and silent during Ogre’s introductions and early matches, he exhibits explosive rage when soccer is praised—particularly reacting violently to Endou Kanon’s mid-match comments—rooted in trauma from military conditioning. His character shifts when Endou Mamoru’s philosophy about courage over combat triggers flashbacks of joyful soccer with friends. This epiphany leads him to thank Endou and embrace the sport, revealing inherent compassion. A fist-to-chest gesture affirms his commitment to fair play before superiors recall him.

Narratively, he first appears in a future sequence, effortlessly defeating Drayce Bauzen’s minions before receiving his forehead mark. As captain, he leads Ogre to a 36–0 victory against Zeus, declaring, "We are ogres who devour even the gods" as Aphrodi collapses. Against Raimon, he scores the second goal using Death Spear, shattering Endou’s Majin The Hand and injuring six players. Endou Kanon’s arrival intensifies the match; Baddap specifically targets Kanon due to agitation over his dialogue. The turning point occurs when Endou Mamoru’s words on courage resonate, sparking Baddap’s emotional flashback and perspective change.
