Description
Paul Okamoto is a Kirikabu Elementary School classmate known for his distinctive mohawk. This mohawk possesses unusual properties, capable of transforming into objects like bread or telephones and is purportedly valued at 100,000 yen. Initially taciturn, Paul began speaking more frequently after the arrival of Johnny Kobayashi. His academic capability is highlighted by a perfect score on a notably difficult test, positioning him as a potential candidate to replace the protagonist, Beckham Kinoshita.

He belongs to the Okamoto family, five siblings separated three years prior to the series' events. His brothers are: Dave Okamoto, the eldest, who practices judo and frequently uses the phrase "Degowasu"; Brian Okamoto, the second son, characterized by a cool personality, sunglasses, and a cloak; Alex Okamoto, the third son, skilled in building mecha and fond of eggplants; and Chuck Okamoto, the youngest, a baby penguin with a high IQ who speaks with a pacifier and uses the phrase "Deshu". His sister is Emily Okamoto, the only female among the siblings, distinguished by her pink color and twin-tailed appearance.

Paul's transforming mohawk frequently features in comedic interactions, particularly during Gordon Watanabe's door-to-door sales, where it unpredictably morphs into items Gordon promotes.
