Description
Mukade, a missing-nin from Sunagakure and central antagonist of *Naruto Shippūden: The Lost Tower*, evades Team 7’s pursuit by fleeing to Rōran’s ancient ruins. There, he seeks to harness the Ryūmyaku—a chakra-rich ley line sealed by Minato Namikaze—and shatters its seal, unleashing a temporal rift that hurls himself, Naruto Uzumaki, and Yamato two decades into the past.
Stranded in the past, he assumes the alias Anrokuzan and ascends as Rōran’s minister. Deceptively guiding Queen Sēramu to modernize the city using the Ryūmyaku, he assassinates her upon her defiance and installs her daughter Sāra as a puppet ruler. Behind the facade of progress, he enslaves Rōran’s populace, replacing them with chakra-driven puppets, and plots to forge an unstoppable puppet legion to dominate the Five Great Shinobi Countries.
His capabilities shift drastically between timelines. In the present, he relies on the Ryūmyaku for rudimentary time manipulation, lacking combat prowess. Empowered by the ley line’s chakra in the past, he achieves near-immortality, rapid regeneration, and mastery over thousands of puppets. His body merges with puppet technology, morphing into hybrid constructs resembling colossal centipedes or spiders, equipped to drain chakra, launch explosive barrages, and merge with puppet parts to amplify his scale and destructive force.
Arrogant and merciless, he taunts Sāra with revelations of her mother’s murder and relentlessly crushes opposition to his rule. His dependence on the Ryūmyaku becomes his fatal flaw: when Sāra severs his connection to the chakra source, his regeneration falters, enabling Naruto and Minato to obliterate him with a dual Rasengan. In a final bid for vengeance, he attempts to annihilate the ley line, but the heroes survive his self-destructive onslaught.
His name, meaning “centipede,” mirrors his relentless encroachment, while “Anrokuzan” evokes historical rebels. His demise in the past erases his legacy from the corrected timeline, concluding his machinations.
