Pharaoh, a light-brown cat originally belonging to Lyman Banner, was rarely separated from his owner during school activities, prompting fear and dislike from Vellian Crowler who suspected the cat carried diseases like rabies. Following Banner's death, his spirit inhabited Pharaoh, occasionally emerging to support Jaden Yuki before being reabsorbed. Pharaoh ultimately delivered a farewell note to Jaden from his friends before Jaden's departure.

Carrying Banner's spirit, the cat accompanied Jaden on his travels. During the events of Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D: Bonds Beyond Time, Pharaoh and Banner's spirit journeyed with Jaden as he investigated Paradox. They traveled to the past, witnessed the duel between Jaden, Yugi Muto, and Yusei Fudo against Paradox, and later returned to their own time. In a pivotal duel moment against Paradox, Banner instructed Pharaoh to wish the three protagonists luck from a nearby building.
