Description
Sangheili Major Thel 'Lodamee served the Covenant military during the Human-Covenant War. His first documented combat occurred at the Battle of Miridem in 2544, where he eliminated SPARTAN-II Sheila-065 and captured Dr. Catherine Halsey, creator of the SPARTAN program. Though his entire battalion fell during the operation, 'Lodamee survived and delivered Halsey to his fleet's flagship—a CAS-class assault carrier commanded by Fleet Master Luro 'Taralumee.
After the capture, 'Taralumee condemned 'Lodamee for outliving his comrades, accusing him of lacking "the heart to die with honor." When SPARTAN-IIs John-117, Kelly-087, and Frederic-104 infiltrated the ship during Operation: WARM BLANKET, 'Lodamee ambushed them with two Sangheili Minors to reclaim his honor. Frederic-104 killed one Minor and engaged 'Lodamee and the other, enabling John-117 and Kelly-087 to advance.
'Lodamee later confronted John-117 in an energy sword duel after the Spartan located Halsey. Disarming John-117, 'Lodamee prepared for a killing strike when 'Taralumee ordered the ship's aft section jettisoned for slipspace. The emergency separation forcibly extracted 'Lodamee, sparing John-117 and igniting the Major's fury.
'Taralumee then declared 'Lodamee "already disgraced," stating his only paths were "death... or becoming the Arbiter." This implied two unconfirmed outcomes: execution or appointment as the Covenant’s Arbiter, a role assigned suicide missions to restore lost honor.
