Carlos Seidl is a Brazilian voice actor and director with a career spanning several decades, known for his work on numerous anime series and films for the Portuguese market. Born in São Paulo on December 17, 1946, he began his artistic career in the 1960s in theater before transitioning to voice acting in 1968. While he is widely recognized in Brazil for iconic roles such as Seu Madruga in the live-action series Chaves, his extensive body of work in anime dubbing is substantial.

Seidl has voiced a wide array of characters in major anime franchises. He is the voice of Kaseki, the skilled craftsman, in the series Dr. Stone and its special, Dr. Stone: Ryusui. In the popular isekai series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, he voices Hakurō, the master sword instructor of the Ogre village. His work also includes the role of Sōichirō Hague in Fire Force and its second season. He has contributed to the One Piece franchise, voicing characters like Ipponmatsu in a newer dub, Zenny, and Raise Max in One Piece Film Gold. Seidl also played Gordon in One Piece Film Red.

His anime film work includes significant roles in Studio Ghibli productions, such as Kiyomasa Ooiwa in When Marnie Was There, the Capataz (Foreman) in Spirited Away, and Kohroko in Princess Mononoke. He is the voice of Rodin in the animated film Bayonetta: Bloody Fate and Billy Banx Jr in Burn The Witch. Seidl has also taken on roles in classic and long-running series, such as Perceptor in The Transformers: The Movie for a Rede Globo dubbing, Zeno Zoldyck in Hunter × Hunter (2011), and Mosquito in Soul Eater.

Beyond these, his credits include a vast range of other anime. He voiced Rei Amo in a new dub of the classic film Alakazam the Great, Percival and Rei Lordgred in Entaku no Kishi Monogatari: Moero Arthur, Abel and Rei de Jericó in In The Beginning - The Bible Stories, Tonio in Marco - From the Apennines to the Andes, Ash in A Detective Story, and both Roh and Thel' Lodamee in Halo Legends. More recent roles include Hitsujiro Munakata in the hit film Suzume and Sweyn in the second season of Vinland Saga for a Crunchyroll dub. His work demonstrates a prolific and enduring career as a leading figure in Brazilian anime dubbing.
