Description
Eiichi Kinoshita, a doctor, delivered Yakumo Saitou and observed Azusa Saitou's fearful reaction to her newborn son's red left eye. The drowning death of his daughter, Ayaka Kinoshita, during a typhoon profoundly impacted him. After this loss, a man possessing two red eyes approached Kinoshita. This man advised that killing girls near Ayaka's age would allow her soul to possess their bodies and return to life. Following this guidance, Kinoshita murdered two young girls in an attempt to resurrect his daughter. His crimes were discovered by another doctor, Takashi Andou, who then blackmailed Kinoshita, threatening police involvement. To prevent exposure, Kinoshita killed Andou. Continuing his plan to revive Ayaka, Kinoshita later abducted Haruka Ozawa. He intended to drown her in a river, weighted down, as a vessel for his daughter's soul. Yakumo Saitou intervened, rescuing Haruka and thwarting the attempt. Upon his capture, Kinoshita confessed to the murders of the two girls and Andou. He revealed the influence of the man with two red eyes, later identified as Yakumo's father. Kinoshita stated his motivation stemmed from the belief that Ayaka's spirit possessed his victims' bodies to console them in their final moments, experiencing their pain and fear each time.
