Description
Detective Yamitaro Ankokuji serves as police inspector and warden of the Atami police station, dedicated to maintaining regional peace. Despite a family history deeply rooted in generations of yakuza involvement, he chose the path of law enforcement. Ankokuji cuts an intimidating figure: tall and broad-shouldered, typically clad in a trench coat and fedora. His shoulder-length messy black hair, thick sideburns, and black eyes contribute to a gangster-like appearance noted by characters such as Shiro Kabuto.
Personality-wise, Ankokuji takes a pragmatic approach to law enforcement. During this confrontation, Pygman injures Ankokuji with a decay-inducing chemical, prompting Pygman's true form revelation. Ankokuji and Gamia Q3 then witness Mazinger Z's climactic battle against the emerging Mycenae Empire.
