Description
Ingram Plissken, a Balmarian clone of Euzeth Gozzo, arrived on Earth as an Aerogater spy after the Meteor-3 impact. Posing as an Earth Federation Army Major, he established the SRX Project to develop advanced humanoid mecha called Personal Troopers. He recruited candidates including Ryusei Date, Raidiese F. Branstein, and Aya Kobayashi based on their psychic potential and piloting aptitudes. Ingram maintained a composed, analytical demeanor while evaluating combat data, exhibiting strong trust in his team despite his reserved nature and intolerance for alcohol.
His true mission involved sabotaging Earth's defenses during the Aerogater invasion. After forming the SRX Team, he betrayed them when the aliens attacked, revealing his allegiance. This betrayal was complicated by his secret agenda to break free from Euzeth Gozzo's mental control and fulfill his destiny as a "Time Diver," an entity preserving balance across dimensions and timelines. Piloting the Astranagant or R-Gun Rivale, he wielded dimensional manipulation abilities and verbally enhanced attacks with phrases like "Dead End Shoot" for beam weapons or "Dead End Slash" for blade finishers.
In the Original Generation timeline, his resistance against Euzeth culminated in his consciousness being bound to Levi Tolar's Judecca unit, forcing him to remain an antagonist until his physical destruction. Though his body perished, his essence persisted within the Astranagant, later merging with Ayin Barshem's Balmarian unit to create the Werkbau and Cobray Gordon. He attempted to dominate Cobray's body but ultimately relinquished control, acknowledging Cobray as his successor as Time Diver and transferring the Astranagant's power to form the Dis Astranagant.
In *Divine Wars*, his role as SRX Project leader followed the broad strokes of his game counterpart, including recruiting Ryusei and the eventual betrayal. The anime introduced a prologue sequence depicting a battle between his Astranagant and Cobray's Dis Astranagant, framed as Ingram's memory of attempting consciousness fusion with Cobray – an encounter attributed to interdimensional convergence rather than Original Generation canon. The finale diverged significantly when his Astranagant merged with the damaged SRX unit to defeat the entity Septuagint, an event absent from the games.
