TV-Series
Description
Announcer Yoshigai provides play-by-play commentary for wrestling matches in both the original *Kinnikuman* series and its sequel, *Kinnikuman Nisei*. The character draws inspiration from Yoshio Yoshigai, a real-life neighbor of manga creators Yudetamago.

In the original series, Yoshigai debuted during the 20th Chojin Olympics Arc, working alongside color commentator Tazahama. He consistently maintained a serious professional demeanor despite Tazahama's frequent comedic interruptions during matches. He later reprised his role as the primary announcer for the 21st Chojin Olympics Arc, again partnered with Tazahama.

In *Kinnikuman Nisei*, Yoshigai continues as the play-by-play announcer, now paired with the color commentator Nakano. His professional and straightforward announcing style contrasts sharply with Nakano's unpredictable and eccentric behavior during broadcasts. Yoshigai's visual design and hairstyle underwent significant changes between the original manga and the anime adaptation.
