Mahito Ōba is a Japanese voice actor and narrator born on March 4 in Hokkaido, Japan. He is a graduate of Tamagawa University and is affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production. His career in the voice acting industry has spanned several decades, with his earliest credited anime role appearing in 1989.

Ōba is most widely recognized for his long-standing contributions to the long-running series One Piece. He voices the Marine officer Smoker and also serves as the series narrator, a role he has performed in numerous television episodes and films, including One Piece: Strong World Episode 0 and One Piece 3D2Y. His other significant role in anime is the Announcer Yoshigai in the Kinnikuman Nisei franchise, also known as Ultimate Muscle. He has also portrayed Ernest Mecklinger in the Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These series and Krabel in Pokémon Horizons: The Series.
