Description
Announcer Yoshigai functions as the primary play-by-play announcer for wrestling matches throughout the Kinnikuman franchise. His character design diverged significantly in the original anime adaptation from the source material. Yoshigai draws direct inspiration from Yudetamago's real-life neighbor, Yoshio Yoshigai.

He debuted as announcer during the 20th Chojin Olympics in the original series, partnering with color commentator Tazahama. Throughout this arc, he upheld a serious professional demeanor despite Tazahama’s comedic interruptions. Yoshigai later reprised his role for the 21st Chojin Olympics, maintaining his position as lead announcer while weathering his partner’s antics.

In *Kinnikuman Nisei*, he continues as match announcer but now collaborates with the unpredictable color commentator Nakano, whose erratic behavior he tolerates during broadcasts. His duties extend to the film *Kinnikuman Nisei - Second Generations*, where he appears at the New Generation Choujins' Fan Appreciation Day event preceding The Cyborg's assault.

During the *Kinnikuman: Scramble for the Throne* story arc, Announcer Sekiguchi temporarily replaced him, though Yoshigai resumed his duties afterward. His consistent presence across tournaments and arcs establishes him as the franchise’s signature announcer. A trivia note references his associated theme song "Moero! Hōsō Seki (Burning Announcer's Chair)" performed by Takayuki Miyauchi.
