Daba Myroad, born Kamon Myroad, is the sole surviving heir of the Yaman Clan monarchy from Mizum. His father, Kamon Walha V, concealed him within the white Heavy Metal unit L-Gaim during Oldna Poseidal's conquest, which annihilated their clan in 3975. Fifteen years later, adopting the alias Daba Myroad, he surfaces on the remote planet Koam with his childhood friend Mirao Kyao. His journey begins after pledging to a dying thief to deliver a cash card to the arms dealer Amandara Kamandara, thrusting him into the conflict against Poseidal's empire. This quest brings him key allies: former bandit Fanneria Amu, who defects out of affection for him, and Lilith Fuau, the last fairy in the Pentagona system.
Daba pilots the L-Gaim, a relic of Yaman technology. He later transitions to the upgraded L-Gaim Mk-II after Kyao and inventor Mesh Maker modify the prototype Amon Duule Stack. The Mk-II gains enhanced capabilities, including transformation, a self-learning bio-computer, and the powerful Buster Launcher weapon. As a leader, Daba unites scattered rebel factions across the Pentagona system's five planets, such as groups led by Stella Coban on Mizum and Semuj Shato on Trydetol. His charisma and tactical acumen consolidate the rebellion, though his leadership exhibits recklessness, particularly concerning his adopted sister Quwasan Olibee. Olibee, brainwashed by Poseidal and later used as a regime puppet, becomes a focal point for Daba's motivations and sometimes compromises his judgment.
Interpersonal dynamics shape Daba's path. A love triangle forms between him, Amu, and Gaw Ha Leccee—a high-ranking Poseidal officer who defects after falling for him. Their rivalry strains group cohesion, prompting Leccee to temporarily abandon the rebellion due to frustration with Daba's impulsive decisions. Daba's bond with rival-turned-ally Gavlet Gablae evolves through shared efforts to rescue Olibee, whom Gavlet loves. The final conflict reveals Amandara Kamandara as the true Poseidal, manipulating the figurehead "Oldna Poseidal" (later revealed as Mian, a woman he brainwashed). Daba and Gavlet infiltrate Poseidal's capital Sveto during the rebels' StarDust Plan asteroid bombardment, confronting Amandara in his Original Auge Heavy Metal. Mian sacrifices herself by deactivating the bio-relation system sustaining her and Amandara's immortality, enabling Daba to destroy the vulnerable Amandara.
Post-war, Daba rejects a leadership role, choosing instead to return to Koam to care for Olibee, who suffers permanent brain damage from Poseidal's control. This departure from his allies highlights his recognition of the personal costs of his quest and his prioritization of familial responsibility over political power. His character arc transitions from vengeance-driven rebellion to a tempered commitment to healing, leaving the liberated Pentagona system under others' stewardship.
