TV-Series
Description
Kirika Kagarigi is a researcher driven by the ambition to become the youngest Nobel Prize recipient. Her studies specifically investigate individuals capable of entering the Wonderland Space, focusing on those affected by Alice Syndrome. She recruits Aruto Kirihara, Arisu Arisugawa, and Kiraha Kirihara to aid her research.

Entering the Wonderland Space causes Kirika to physically revert to her childhood form, a transformation stemming from psychological trauma linked to a significant incident in her youth. Her upbringing prioritized research and academic excellence above all else, leaving her socially isolated with only one known friend before meeting Aruto. In expanded media, she consistently maintains this childhood form, reflecting the lasting impact of her traumatic past, which includes the loss of both parents.

Her dedication to research originates from personal tragedy and a desire to overcome childhood hardships. Despite her outward composure, she exhibits limited interest in matters beyond her studies and is often perceived as cold by others, primarily due to her singular focus rather than intentional aloofness. Her interactions with boys remained minimal until her research curiosity led her to engage with Aruto.

As an Alice User, Kirika wields a key sword imbued with wind-based abilities. Her combat style employs broad slash attacks generating energy waves, with her weapon evolving through iterations named Rampant Blade, Momentous Blade, Windsplitter, Windmaster, and Divine Breeze. Specific techniques include Graze Winds, creating tornado-like projectiles, and Pattern Circle, releasing spiraling energy waves around her.

In the main narrative, Kirika suffers defeat in combat against Asuka, resulting in the permanent loss of her Alice powers. Despite this setback, she transitions into a support role, aiding Aruto and his allies through research assistance and strategic guidance from outside the Wonderland conflicts. Expanded media interpretations present a significant narrative divergence where she is killed during a confrontation with Asuka in a church. Alternate continuations feature a version who survives but remains permanently reverted to her child form, actively participating in subsequent conflicts as a guardian figure within the Wonderland framework.

Her backstory reveals a childhood devoid of emotional connections beyond academic achievement, with her parents' deaths during her formative years contributing to her isolated nature. This history explains her initial inability to form meaningful relationships before joining the main group.
