Description
Rim, a formidable demon forged by the Calon people as the "Guardian of the Stars," orchestrates the world’s magic energy through an ancient labyrinth. Her abandonment of this role—stemming from a reputation for forgetfulness and perceived intellectual shortcomings—triggers destabilization within the dungeon and prompts her younger sister Sky’s rise as her successor. Rim shifts between three distinct forms: a towering magenta-scaled dragon with luminous green eyes, a teenage humanoid figure adorned with pink hair, reptilian scales on her limbs, and horns, and a potent adult guise radiating amplified power.

Governed by an insatiable hunger, she initially prioritizes food over all else, demanding meals as payment for safeguarding Kinji Ninomiya. This ravenous appetite strains finances, devouring over 50,000 Gily daily. Gradually, her selfishness softens into protective loyalty, driving her to defend Kinji and allies without expecting rewards. She confronts her fractured bond with Sky, moving from hostility to pledging cooperation to mend her sister’s unstable existence.

Her bond with Kinji evolves from transactional reliance to mutual devotion, culminating in her sharing flesh and power to revive him after his sacrifice reignites her petrified form. Sky, once resented as a replacement, transforms into a focus of Rim’s remorse-fueled resolve to atone for past neglect.

Rim wields overwhelming physical strength, an aura that paralyzes foes, and transformative abilities. Unleashing her adult form’s full might temporarily crushes adversaries but hastens her hunger. Her desertion as guardian sparks labyrinth instability, enabling corporations to exploit the dungeon and exacerbating Sky’s fragile state.

After binding herself to Kinji via a food pact, she drains his resources while aiding ventures like organizing worker ants. A future timeline reveals her torment over Sky’s suffering, galvanizing efforts to heal her sister. Following corporate conquest of the dungeon, she embraces a NEET existence, indulging in leisure and feasts yet remaining vigilant in shielding those she cherishes.
