Kumiko Takeda, nicknamed Kuu-chan, is the close friend of Ami Matsuzaki. She debuts around episode 15 of the anime. She mistakenly believes Kenta is a toy and persistently hunts for his batteries. Her interactions, especially with Kenta, form a notable aspect of her role; Kenta develops a significant crush on her, causing Iyo's visible annoyance. Kumiko harbors a paralyzing fear of horses, stemming from an infant incident where a horse bit her head in a stable. This fear makes any encounter with the horse-like Mr. Yamanami intensely traumatic. Born May 21st, she is a five-year-old Gemini. Her background includes moving into a new neighborhood with her family, similar to Ami.
