TV-Series
Description
Lieze Lotte, officially Lieselotte, is one of Gil Graham's twin cat familiars, collectively known as the Liese Twins. She shares an identical appearance with her sister Aria Liese, marked only by slightly shorter hair. Both display absolute loyalty to their master and follow his commands without question.
Lotte possesses a notably more excitable personality than her sister. She openly lavishes affection on males, demonstrated when she first encountered Chrono Harlaown: leaping onto him, hugging tightly, tackling him down, and covering him in kisses. This tendency extended to Yuuno Scrya; his animal-like traits prompted her to declare a desire to "taste the cute mouseboy," visibly unnerving him. She later apologized to Yuuno after mistaking him for a Dark Fragment creation in an alternate timeline, offering pets and kisses he declined.
Her combat expertise focuses on close-quarters engagements, contrasting with Aria's ranged magic. This specialization led to her role as Chrono Harlaown's close combat instructor. During the *A's* conflict, the Liese Twins fully demonstrated their power under Graham's orders to interfere in the battles involving the Wolkenritter, Nanoha Takamachi, and Fate Testarossa. Disguised as masked figures, they launched surprise attacks. Identified by her navy blue magic aura, Lotte is strongly implied to be the masked assailant who ambushed Chrono and Fate, extracting the Wolkenritter's Linker Cores. The twins effortlessly incapacitated all Wolkenritter members before Chrono ultimately apprehended them. As part of this mission, Lotte also used shapeshifting magic to impersonate Fate Testarossa in an attempt to deceive Hayate Yagami.
She makes a brief appearance in *StrikerS* via a photograph showing her alongside Graham and Aria in their cat forms. Lotte reappears with her sister in the alternate continuity of *The Gears of Destiny*. Though Graham and the twins had resigned from the Time-Space Administration Bureau (TSAB) before the Dark Fragments Incident, they were temporarily recalled to assist in resolving the crisis. Within this storyline, Lotte harbors lingering resentment towards Hayate Yagami and the Wolkenritter due to their involvement in Clyde Harlaown's death.
Her known Midchilda-system magical abilities, suited to her combat style, include several spells: **Blaze Cannon** (an A+ rank bombardment spell), **Crystal Cage** (a capture spell), **Hoop Bind**, **Long Range Bind**, **Mirage Hide** (an illusion spell), and **Wheel Protection** (a defensive barrier). Game-specific combat actions further emphasize her focus on physical strikes, counters, and binding techniques.
