OVA
Description
Emerging as a key antagonist across multiple franchise installments, Shot Weapon first appears in the 1983 series as a brilliant, morally ambiguous inventor from Silicon Valley, his exact origins deliberately obscured. He is credited as the probable creator of the biomechanical Aura Battlers, war machines powered by their pilots' life energy ("aura"). His technological expertise extends beyond mecha to aura amplification systems and battleship design, notably contributing to the Spriggan warship deployed by antagonists.

Driven by technological supremacy for strategic advantage, he operates independently while nominally serving under Drake Luft. This path leads him to join a splinter faction led by Bishot Hate and Luuza Luft, continuing advanced weapon development for their coup attempt.

Preserved in suspended animation for seven centuries, Shot resurfaces in the OVA *The Tale of Neo Byston Well*. His objective shifts to recreating the original conflict on a catastrophic scale. He orchestrates events by manipulating Shion Zaba (Sho Zama's reincarnation) and Silkie Mau (a Ferario), while constructing a custom nuclear-tipped ICBM missile intended to devastate Neo Byston Well. His plan specifically forces Shion into the "Holy Warrior" role piloting the Silbine aura battler, mirroring Sho Zama's destiny to fulfill a cyclical conflict pattern.

Across both timelines, his innovations drive the plot: aura barriers protecting Earth mecha, the evolution of aura weaponry from solid-projectile cannons to beam rifles, and specialized battleships like the Spriggan all stem from his research. However, his creations carry inherent risks, such as the "Hyper Mode" potentially killing pilots through uncontrolled aura consumption. His enduring presence establishes him as a persistent architect of conflict within the setting's metaphysical framework.
