Description
King Nikochan reigns as the self-proclaimed ruler of the Nikochan-seijin, an alien race known for their comically ineffective attempts at conquest despite interplanetary ambitions. His species visually stands out due to buttocks-like features on their heads, an element initially rejected as crude but retained because of production deadlines.

Hailing from Planet Nikochan, he and his unnamed servant launched a mission to conquer Earth after scouting for a suitably vulnerable planet. Their schemes consistently unraveled upon encountering Arale Norimaki and Gatchan. In an early attempt, he destroyed Mars to capture their attention, only for Gatchan to consume their spaceship, stranding them in space before they crash-landed back on Earth. Senbei Norimaki, mistaking them for tourists, provided a car instead of a spacecraft, further hindering their plans.

Throughout the *Dr. Slump* series, King Nikochan appeared in multiple storylines, often as a source of failed schemes. These included trying to steal Senbei's spacecraft but mistaking a toilet for the vessel, joining Dr. Mashirito's army during the Penguin Village Wars, and participating in village events like the Penguin Gran Prix race using a stroller. His Stone Age efforts ended abruptly when his airplane collided with a pterodactyl. In a later arc, the Nikochan-seijin acquired a new ship to return home, discovering their planet usurped by hostile forces. Arale intervened, defeated the invaders, and restored their rule.

His appearances extended beyond the main series. In the spin-off *Pola & Roid*, he attacked the titular characters en route to Earth; Pola repelled him by impersonating Arale, exploiting his fear of her. Within the *Dragon Ball* universe, he collected trash in Penguin Village, misinterpreting it as treasure. Police destroyed his repaired spaceship (mistaking him for the Red Ribbon Army), stranding him indefinitely. He also made crowd cameos during the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament and later crossed paths with Arale in *Dragon Ball Super* during the "Future" Trunks Saga.

In the *Dr. Slump* remake, Ninja Murasaki recruited him into the Red Ribbon Army to steal Dragon Balls from Goku. After failing, he and his servant abandoned the mission. Video game appearances, like *Dragon Ball: Origins 2*, showed him collecting trash and interacting with Goku and Arale. In one scenario, his binoculars provided crucial lenses for repairing Goku's Dragon Radar after his ship's destruction. Other game scenarios depicted him collaborating with antagonists like Emperor Pilaf to repair machinery in exchange for spaceship parts, though he invariably fled upon their defeat.

His personality blended delusions of grandeur with persistent incompetence. Linguistically, he used a Nagoya dialect in Japanese versions, contrasting with his servant's standard speech; Latin American dubs gave him an Argentine accent. A running gag involved his literal interpretation of "one man's trash is another man's treasure," driving his *Dragon Ball* trash-collecting. Despite occasional alliances or renewed efforts, he remained defined by perpetual failure and reliance on others, particularly Arale, for rescue or problem-solving.
