Description
Dr. Elizabeth H. Xander served within the multinational conglomerate Poseidon as Chief Technician of New Technology. She led research at Poseidon's Halcon Laboratories, conducting classified experiments using technology to erase individuality and eliminate human conflict through mind control.
Poseidon terminated the Halcon project due to ethical and security risks, staging Xander's death in an accident to eliminate her and halt the research.
Halcon operatives resurrected her remains into a cybernetically enhanced entity integrated directly into the Halcon control system within a fortified facility. Her primary function became broadcasting a global mind-control signal via the Connexus neural interface worn by Olympus citizens, overriding free will and inciting violent riots to enforce Halcon's unity.
Confronted by ESWAT operatives Deunan Knute, Briareos Hecatonchires, and Tereus, Deunan administered a prototype antidote. This temporarily disrupted the signal and restored Xander's autonomy. Recognizing the imminent threat of the system reasserting control, Xander prioritized disabling the network. She directed Deunan to destroy her cyborg body, permanently severing the signal and freeing the population.
